When I wanted a new set of cookware I decided I wanted a good set.  No more cheap cookware.  Believe it or not cheap cookware can affect the way you cook.  I wanted good heavy walled cookware something like LeCreuset or AllClad.  AllClad makes many different types of cookware, from professional grade to mid-rage grade. One All Clad professional cookware set is Master Chef 2 (MC2) cookware.  These sets aren't cheap, they run from $900 to $1900. They have a brushed aluminum exterior and stainless steel non stick interior.  I don't need cookware that expensive or exotic either.  Calphalon is another cookware maker who has many different options to choose from.  Many are reasonably priced for any home cook.
