I didn’t know how she was doing it but my friend, Esther, was coming up with these really high dollar, gorgeous designer handbags at every social function we both attended. We’re both in sales and we attend about three big events for our company every month, in a different town. Esther kept showing up with a different designer purse or designer handbag at every event. We both make about the same so I know there’s no way she can afford all these $1,000 + bags that she’s wearing on her arm. So, finally I asked her point blank, “what’s up with that?” You know what she tells me? “Don’t tell anyone but, no they’re not mine. I could never afford those. You know that. What I do is rent them.” So I’m bowled over. All this time, she’s been just renting designer bagsand she can get as many as she wants and then send them back while the rest of us have to struggle with our accessories and their costs. Jeez..I had no idea!
